Art can really be everything on my culture main page. I’m happy to say this is just a nice term to encompass more classical art – painted works, sculptures, fixtures and so forth.

Also; I don’t typically enjoy a lot of art which has little meaning or context. Many varieties of modern art which require the person viewing it to make their own point is a bit worthless to me – I know my own thoughts, I really just want to know the artists own views, or the story in the work itself. However I do realise badmouthing “modern art” is a ridiculous concept considering it is so broad.

Museum wise, I can highly recommend the National Media Museum, which is a good day out. Into the Pixel also showcases amazing videogame art, although I’ve never visited a showing in person.
