Review Discrepancies

Bill Harris has a look at NCAA Football 2009 reviews, versus his own look at the game. Looks pretty grim on the game reviewers side, sigh.

    Obviously reviewed by people who are not football watchers.

    The simulation market is one where the adage “realism is not fun” breaks down quite a bit.

    Absolutely, I’d never be able to review an American Football game without knowing the rules. The things he points out seem like pretty major flaws for a sports game, and none are reported in the reviews, making them as he said more “previews” then anything.

    Lucky I don’t trust reviews :)
